Myths and Legends

The Mabinogion is a collection of stories, based on the myths from the ancient Celts. The Celts did not write their myths and stories down. Instead, bards, or musical storytellers, told the myths over and over in song. The stories were passed from bard to bard. These wonderful stories of fairies and elves and magical beings were finally written down many years later in the White Book of Rhydderch and the Red Book of Hergest.
